Archil Mamatelashvili

Archil has 20+ years of international experience in the fields of energy and finance. Among several high responsibility positions, he held the position of the Deputy Minister of Energy of Georgia, Board Member of the National Bank of Georgia, Vice President (Chief Risk Officer) of the largest commercial bank in South Caucasus – JSC TBC Bank and CEO of Energo-Pro Turkey. He established and managed the first energy-focused listed private investment fund in the region – JSC Caucasus Energy & Infrastructure. He holds a degree in Economics and has an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, USA. He is the founder and managing partner of energy research and consultancy company Hydrocorp LLC. He Is the author of several scientific works and researches in the sector of energy and economics.
Irakli Bezhuashvili
Managing Partner
Irakli Bezhuashvili has 14 years of working experience in the energy sector including management of 1.4, 6, 45 and 50 MW capacity Hydropower plant construction. He was the financial director of the first private investment fund (JSC Caucasus Energy & Infrastructure) in the Region with the energy projects focus. Besides, he has a great experience of conducting technical and economic assessments, construction monitoring, design and technical research of several douzaine hydropower projects. He has also served as the Consultant of the global auditing Company PwC.
Jacob Todua
Chief Hydropower Engineer
Jacob Todua has 47 years of international experience in the field of power plant project development and construction. After graduating with honors from the Polytechnic Institute of Georgia, he works as a structural designer in the engineering department of “Tbilhydroproject ” (hydro power plants’ design and construction). He worked as the head of the technical department on the construction of Enguri HPP (largest HPP in South and North Caucasus). He was the head of the technical department of the Georgian construction company “Saqhidroenergomseni” (hydro power plant construction company). From the international perspective, in the Republic of Iraq, he worked as the deputy head of the technical department on the construction of the Al-Qadisiya HPP on the Euphrates river. He worked for 6.5 years as a civil engineer in two American companies “Kellogg Brown & Ruth Service” and “DynCorp International ”. He was a technical expert at the Energy Development Fund of Georgia and later a technical manager/expert in the engineering monitoring group of the Georgian company. He is chief hydropower engineer at “Hydrocorp” LLC.
Nodar Mamatelashvili
Civil Engineer
Nodar Mamatelashvili has over 30 years of experience in the construction sector of Georgia. He has PhD degree in Construction Mechanics. He was in charge of construction of several large construction projects, including the construction of a Georgian coast guard ships service base in Poti and the construction of a sea port in Batumi in 2012-2015. He also has experience in hydropower construction and construction quality control, including Mtkvari, Sashuala 1, Sashuala 2 and Nakra HPPs. Since 2021 he has been a member of the team of “Hydrocorp” Ltd. and has been in charge of construction quality control.
